The Synapse 3D Bronchoscopy Simulator uses unique image recognition technologies to automatically extract organs and vessels such as the lungs, lung lobes, bronchus, pancreas and colon. It also enables a wide variety of 3D analyses including visualisation of chronic respiratory disease.

Alongside the image recognition capabilities, the Synapse 3D Bronchoscopy Simulator also includes a Bronchus Scope Simulation and Fine Bronchus Extraction function making it possible to find an optimum bronchus path to reach the lung nodule. To do this, it uses the volume data collected with CT to simulate the insertion of the bronchoscope into this path.

To find out more about this unique bronchoscopy simulator, visit the Aquilant/ Fujifilm booth number 15 at the BTS Winter Meeting from Wednesday 5th to Friday 7th December.
